Why Devanha ? What does it mean?

Devanha is the Roman name for Aberdeen! So Mairi decided this was a perfect name for her as an artist! Mairi was born and she has lived in Aberdeen all her life. There is a series of Devanha addresses named after the city's Roman title, And Mairi actually lives on the Terrace of that name! Half of Devanha Terrace is 40 years apart in the making, and the other half was the site where Devanha Brewery was previously situated. Pity it's been knocked down! LOL
